Sales Professionals

High impact education technology company is seeking two motivated sales professionals with knowledge of and connection to school district and state education leaders. You will work closely with the founding partners to learn the product (“intelligent, personalized, professional development…at scale”); position the product for high value impact, and demo the online portal to school districts and state-level leaders.

You will work with well-qualified in-house leads and develop your own leads.

You will have all reasonable support from Marketing and Product to hit your target goals and be successful. These positions are $70K+ in base salary plus commissions that bring total compensation over $100K ;when you are successful.

Experience ...

  1. Extensive account management and sales experience, including experience selling to the educational market, with demonstrated effective communication, presentation, and professional relationship-building skills
  2. Strong understanding of K-12 education industry and needs of teachers

Characteristics for success...

  1. Able to successfully move deals through the sales cycle, from identification to negotiation to sealing the deal
  2. Self-organized and can work remotely from anywhere - the team is virtual
  3. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including high-caliber presentation skills
  4. Knowledge of education market, school and business operations and functions with ability to have impactful conversations with senior district and state education contacts
  5. May require limited travel to conferences and important clients when traveling is back to being a thing.

We are looking for someone who instinctively knows what it takes to spread the word about 2gnoMe through social channels, focusing on important voices in education and professional learning. Not necessarily for full-time --- we can work around your schedule as long as you meet the following expectations:

  1. Must be hands-on with popular social media platforms to
    1. Maintain the brand voice
    2. Support existing partners
    3. Share / engage with thought leaders
    4. Create / manage content calendar
  2. Must be self-reliant and independent
    1. Meet with leadership weekly
    2. Otherwise, very little day-to-day supervision
  3. Relevant experience
    1. Strong social media skills and comfort level
    2. Education / Professional Development interest a strong plus
  4. Growth mindset
    1. Day-to-day execution a must
    2. Strategic marketing thinking a plus
